First getaway on the bikes with me and Dave. Off to the Isle of Wight, new bike, new hat, dazzling yellow jersey and full of excitement and trepidation. 15 minutes off the boat and into our first ride.....OFF you come, SPLAT, SPLASH into the muddy puddle - very dirty yellow jersey! Sorry we laughed so much and so hard Dad. It was the beginning of a brilliant era!!
